Privacy notice

• Contact details you give us: name, company, email address, phone number.
• Enquiry and instruction details: property address, scheme information, purchase price, finance terms, and documents you upload or send (for example agent particulars, floor plans, drawings and specialist reports).
• Information from third parties when you ask us to use it: agents, architects, lenders, brokers and public records such as planning registers, the Land Registry and Companies House.
• Newsletter subscription details: your email address and consent record.
• Website usage data: essential technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, including device and browser information. No optional analytics tool is currently enabled (see our Cookie policy).

We do not intend to collect special category data (for example health information). Please don't send it to us.

We share personal data only where needed:

• Lovable provides website hosting and Lovable Cloud provides the database, private file storage and authentication used by this site. Inter and Source Serif 4 are served with the website, without requests to Google Fonts. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical connection and browser information to protect public forms. No email delivery or analytics service is currently configured on this website.
• Specialists or partners involved in your instruction, only with your agreement (for example an architect or planning consultant).
• A lender or other party only where you ask us to, or where we issue a reliance letter at your request.
• Our professional indemnity insurers, professional advisers and RICS where required for regulation, insurance or a complaint.
• Authorities where the law requires it.

We never sell personal data. Newsletter consent is captured on this site; automated newsletter delivery is not currently enabled.

The configured Lovable Cloud database region is EU West (Paris, France). Form records are held in that database. Uploaded files are held privately in Lovable Cloud storage; the storage service's precise physical location has not been independently confirmed. Website hosting and Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical information internationally; their precise processing locations have not been confirmed. No email or analytics service is configured, so no region or analytics retention period is stated for those services.

Where a service provider processes personal data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

• Enquiries that don't lead to an instruction: up to 2 years from the last contact.
• Instructions, reports and working files: up to 15 years after the instruction ends, to meet professional, insurance and limitation requirements.
• Accounting records: at least 6 years, as required by law.
• Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
• Form abuse protection: a keyed, non-reversible IP identifier and submission timestamps are retained for enforcing hourly and daily limits. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the form-limit records.
• Analytics data: none is currently collected by an optional analytics tool.

You have the right to access your personal data, have it corrected, have it erased, restrict or object to its use, ask for it to be transferred, and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. To exercise any right, email hello@msurveying.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.

We use access controls, encrypted connections and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please use the secure upload on our forms rather than emailing sensitive documents where possible.
